Thanks to all who made this most recent Delt Taucos our most successful, raising over $100 more for JDRF than in spring of 2017! Stay tuned for a date for spring 2018.
Beta Zeta is closely involved with the Indianapolis chapter of JRDF, assisting in event staffing for OneWalk and the annual gala to fundraise for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. We are proud to have raised $1,394 for JDRF during the 2016 – 2017 academic year, and are eager to continue our involvement and fundraising to fund a cure to T1D.
Delt Taucos is Beta Zeta’s newest philanthropy event, consisting of the sale of Mexican cuisine to members of the Butler community. It benefits Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Delta Tau Delta’s national philanthropic partner. Chef Adam and the wonderful people at College Chefs provide artisan Mexican food at no cost to the chapter, which is sold, and all the proceeds donated to JDRF. In the past, information about type 1 diabetes (T1D) has been displayed around the Shelter, and T1D patients who benefit from JDRF’s work have come to speak about their experience with the disease.
